Job Summary
Thornbury Community Services is seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Nurse to join our team in providing complex care to a young girl with CCHS and Hirschsprungs Disease. As a Paediatric Nurse with Thornbury Community Services, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of our client and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to our client, promoting her physical and emotional well-being.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans.
- Provide education and support to our client and her family, empowering them to take an active role in her care.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of our client's care records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of our service.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months' experience in the last 2 years as a Paediatric Nurse.
- Recent experience in tracheostomy care, suctioning, and ventilation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
