Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Business Solutions & Improvement Officer to join our team at Electus Recruitment Solutions. This is a permanent role based in Stevenage, with a salary of £50k + £2.5k Annual Bonus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the UK Procurement and Supply Chain identification, development, and implementation of functional improvement and transformation activities.
  • Project Manage tools improvement activities in support of Procurement and Supply Chain activities.
  • Create, publish and support the implementation of new policies and processes through training and communication to the Procurement and Supply Chain teams.
  • Provide ongoing functional support regarding the improvement / implementation of processes and tools.
  • Work with internal customers and manage solution suppliers to implement, improve and deliver the Procurement & Supply Chain Domain strategy.
Requirements
  • On the job experience will be vast and will take you into different cultures and practices.
  • You will have the chance to improve your competence by attendance of training, coaching and knowledge capitalisation events carried out from within the Procurement and Supply Chain Academy.
  • Experience of working in a complex matrix organisation, with an ability to work collaboratively, build relationships and demonstrate value-add.
  • You will have good analytical and presentation skills, able to distil analysis to a meaningful direction for the receiver (possible actions to be taken).
  • You will have excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to monitor and drive to completion.
  • A proven track record of delivering improvements in a Procurement & Supply Chain environment.
  • Knowledge of SAP and Ivalua would be an advantage.
What We're Looking For

You will be working within the 'Industrial policy, Global Supply Chain & Procurement' Directorate and specifically as part of the 'Business Solutions and Improvement' Team.

We are looking for a candidate who is able to work collaboratively, build relationships and demonstrate value-add. You will have good analytical and presentation skills, able to distil analysis to a meaningful direction for the receiver (possible actions to be taken).
