Job Title: Principal Business Solutions & Improvement Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned improvement practitioner to join our Business Solutions and Improvement Team as a Principal Business Solutions & Improvement Officer. This is a permanent role based in Stevenage, with a salary of £50k + £2.5k Annual Bonus.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a broad experience working in a variety of Procurement & Supply Chain roles and will be responsible for leading approved functional improvements in processes, tools & methodologies, which enhance overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the UK Procurement and Supply Chain identification, development, and implementation of functional improvement and transformation activities.
  • Project Manage tools improvement activities in support of Procurement and Supply Chain activities.
  • Create, publish and support the implementation of new policies and processes through training and communication to the Procurement and Supply Chain teams.
  • Provide ongoing functional support regarding the improvement / implementation of processes and tools.
  • Work with internal customers and manage solution suppliers to implement, improve and deliver the Procurement & Supply Chain Domain strategy.

Requirements:

  • On the job experience will be vast and will take you into different cultures and practices.
  • You will have the chance to improve your competence by attendance of training, coaching and knowledge capitalisation events carried out from within the Procurement and Supply Chain Academy.
  • Experience of working in a complex matrix organisation, with an ability to work collaboratively, build relationships and demonstrate value-add.
  • Good analytical and presentation skills, able to distil analysis to a meaningful direction for the receiver (possible actions to be taken).
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to monitor and drive to completion.
  • A proven track record of delivering improvements in a Procurement & Supply Chain environment.
  • Knowledge of SAP and Ivalua would be an advantage.

Security Clearance:

Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to British Citizens, can accept dual nationals with British Citizenship.
