Business Solutions & Improvement Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen in a dynamic team for a seasoned improvement practitioner with expertise in the Procurement and Supply Chain environment. The successful candidate will lead approved functional improvements in processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance overall efficiency.

The Opportunity:
  • Support the UK Procurement and Supply Chain team in identifying, developing, and implementing functional improvement and transformation activities.
  • Project manage tools improvement activities in support of Procurement and Supply Chain activities.
  • Create, publish, and support the implementation of new policies and processes through training and communication to the Procurement and Supply Chain teams.
  • Provide ongoing functional support regarding the improvement/implementation of processes and tools.
  • Work with internal customers and manage solution suppliers to implement, improve, and deliver the Procurement & Supply Chain Domain strategy for the following projects:
    • Procurement & Supply Chain resilience assessment process.
    • Analysis of data sets and sources for resilience.
    • Project tracking and reporting.
  • Analyze best general practices from industrial benchmarking of other relevant companies.
  • Promote best practice and functional excellence by collaborating functionally and cross-functionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities.
  • Manage projects to improve tools and methodologies.
  • Communicate and train teams on new policies and processes.
  • Provide ongoing support for process and tool improvements.
