About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Area Business Development Manager to join our team in the UK and Ireland. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with existing and new customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and new customers, including visiting customers, A&E customers, and end-users to identify opportunities to upsell and increase sales.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing key clients, including regular visits and communication to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Proposal Development: Develop business proposals and offers for new and existing customers, working closely with our sales team to ensure accurate and compelling proposals.
  • Sales Reporting: Create sales reports that include new and existing projects, and work closely with customers to grow and close projects.
  • KPI Management: Monitor and manage set KPIs on targets for key customer accounts, working closely with our sales team to ensure achievement of targets.
  • Product Training: Promote training on our products and software to ensure customers have the correct knowledge to effectively sell our solutions to the end-user.
  • Channel Management: Ensure our partners have the required product range available to successfully sell our solutions.
  • Market Trends: Stay up-to-date with market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Objectives: Achieve set objectives relating to all relevant sales and product quantity mix, involving strategic and active analysis of channel management and introduction of sales promotion activity.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with our Marketing team to entice existing customers and encourage new customers, by organizing activities and events that inform and inspire them to work with Hanwha Vision Europe as their preferred partner of choice.
  • Trade Shows: Attend UK and Ireland trade shows and events to promote our products and solutions.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Country VP (UK and Ireland).

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within the Security industry.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the market, main channels, and potential customers.
  • Sales Experience: Experience selling to Distributors and System Integrators in the region.
  • Proven Track Record: A proven sales and achievement record.
  • Education: Business or Technical Degree Level Education (desirable).
  • Skills: Intermediate and Advanced 'Microsoft Office' skills to include Excel, ability to develop strong and lasting relationships with both internal Company Directors/colleagues and key clients, ability to demonstrate independent thinking and good clear judgement, ability to demonstrate motivation of multidisciplinary teams to achieve targets, logical and well-organized with exceptional attention to detail, displays a pro-active approach and is a 'solution finder', self-motivated and able to work under own initiative, ability to communicate on all levels in a clear and concise manner, ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, process-oriented, and clean driving license.
  • Language: English language essential.
