Business Development Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Manager to join our team at Lookers Chester Vauxhall and Kia. As a Business Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our sales team and contributing to the growth of our dealership.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and recommend suitable financing and insurance options for customers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and treating customers fairly.
- Stay up-to-date with all aspects of financial and insurance product regulations to provide accurate information to customers during vehicle sales negotiations.
- Monitor and analyze finance and insurance performance against targets, maintaining a compliant sales process.
- Collaborate with management to develop and coach the skills of the sales team to achieve business objectives.
- Assist in planning, forecasting trends, and revising plans for the dealership on an ongoing basis.
- Develop a high level of product knowledge to effectively address customer queries and log all activity to measure outcomes and provide regular feedback to management.
Requirements
- Previous management experience in the automotive industry, with a proven track record of coaching and developing sales teams.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer care and engagement.
- Experience in monitoring financial performance against budget and identifying areas for improvement.
- Strong understanding of financial and insurance product regulations, with the ability to demonstrate compliance.
- Excellent organizational and process-oriented skills, with a hands-on approach.
- A full UK driving license is required for this position.
