Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Clinical Psychologist/Neuropsychologist to join our team at a state-of-the-art neurological hospital in Leatherhead. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct psychological services to clients and their families, conducting and interpreting a wide range of assessment procedures.
  • Develop and lead the out-patient service for non-residential clients requiring clinical psychology.
  • Provide therapeutic support to clients through group work and individual sessions.
  • Prepare detailed professional reports on client assessment and progress, making recommendations for future provision.
  • Direct and supervise the clinical work of clinical staff and students within the centre as appropriate.
  • Provide training and consultation to colleagues on the cognitive, emotional, social, and behavioral implications of acquired brain injury, devising, implementing, and monitoring strategies to facilitate learning and management of the behavior of clients.
  • Initiate and engage in formal research projects, publishing as appropriate.
  • Conduct analysis of outcomes and participate in service evaluation.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology or related field.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience in working with clients with acquired brain injury.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
