Job Description:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Support: Provide strategic leadership and support to the psychology team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical services.
  • Direct Psychological Services: Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide direct psychological services to clients and their families, utilizing a range of evidence-based interventions.
  • Service Development: Develop and implement effective service development strategies to enhance the outpatient service for non-residential clients requiring clinical psychology.
  • Supervision and Training: Direct and supervise the clinical work of staff and students, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of practice.
  • Research and Evaluation: Conduct analysis of outcomes and participate in service evaluations, contributing to the development of evidence-based practice.
  • Collaboration and Representation: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, representing the service at meetings, conferences, and other events to promote best practice and advance the field of clinical neuropsychology.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Doctorate-level training in clinical psychology or neuropsychology.
  • Experience: Proven experience working with individuals with acquired brain injury or in a neuro-rehabilitation setting, utilizing neuropsychological assessments to inform care planning.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
