The remuneration for this permanent Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist position ranges from £50,952 to £58,972 annually.

Main Responsibilities:
Leadership and Guidance:
Oversee and mentor the psychology team at the center.
Direct Psychological Services:
Deliver direct psychological services to clients and their families within Neuro Rehabilitation Services, encompassing a broad spectrum of assessment techniques.
Outpatient Service Enhancement:
Enhance the outpatient service for non-residential clients in need of clinical psychology.
Therapeutic Assistance:
Provide therapeutic support to clients through both group and individual sessions.
Professional Documentation:
Prepare comprehensive professional reports on client assessments and progress, offering recommendations for future care.
Supervision:
Direct and oversee the clinical work of staff and students within the center.
Training and Consultation:
Offer training and consultation to colleagues regarding the cognitive, emotional, social, and behavioral implications of acquired brain injury. Develop, implement, and monitor strategies to facilitate learning and manage client behavior.
Research Initiatives:
Initiate and participate in formal research projects, with a focus on publishing findings.
Outcome Assessment and Service Review:
Conduct outcome assessments and engage in service evaluations.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration:
Collaborate with the General Manager, Head of Clinical Services, the psychology team, and other multidisciplinary team members as necessary.
Client Suitability Evaluation:
Advise the General Manager and Head of Clinical Services on the suitability of prospective clients.
Representation and Networking:
Represent the service at meetings, conferences, and other events, networking and delivering presentations as required.
Qualifications for the Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist:
Doctorate level training in clinical psychology or neuropsychology.
Current HCPC registration.
Experience working with individuals with cognitive impairments.
Experience utilizing neuropsychological assessments to inform care planning.
Experience working with individuals who have an acquired brain injury or in a neuro-rehabilitation environment.
Experience collaborating with staff teams in a residential context.
Experience engaging with families in a therapeutic setting.
