About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Capacity Planning Manager to join our Amazon Freight Partner team. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for building and implementing Amazon Freight Partner's growth strategy, driving business strategy and growth using strategy, operational knowledge, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build, present, and implement Amazon Freight Partner's growth strategy
  • Build partner profitability models and scenarios beyond core capacity growth
  • Create flex demand allocation tenets and hold operations accountable to deliver the plan
  • Build a tractor utilization management model and identify opportunities to improve tractor utilization
  • Analyse data around KPIs to generate forward-looking plans to present to senior stakeholders in the Operations business
  • Build visualisation tools and dashboards to analyse and create reports for your team to drive action around KPIs
  • Create or improve internal dashboards that give your colleagues better visibility of task-related data

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proven experience working in an analytical role, driving business strategy and growth using strategy, operational knowledge, and analytical skills
  • Relevant experience in analysing large data sets, data quality, and data warehousing to identify improvement opportunities
  • Relevant experience creating dashboards using Excel, SQL, Quicksight, and visualisation tools
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced or master's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or another technical field
  • Experience in working with Operational, Supply Chain, or Logistics teams
  • Tableau/SQL/Python/VBA/Power BI
