About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join our Amazon Freight Operations team in Europe. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our transportation network and delivering exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex programs within Amazon Freight Operations, identifying and implementing structural solutions to optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Develop and implement supply chain and operating models for various businesses, ensuring alignment with Amazon's global strategy.
  • Analyze and interpret data to drive business decisions, improving efficiency across supply chains and multiple operations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to advise on and manage operational challenges, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Support the planning and organization of complex projects, owning simultaneous support of several strategic projects at a time.
  • Implement and own reporting mechanisms for strategic projects and new workstreams, providing metrics and analytical insights to stakeholders.
  • Influence diverse stakeholders with different priorities, partnering with commercial, product, and finance teams to ensure efficient and on-time program implementation.
About the Team

Amazon Freight Europe is a transportation service provider that leverages Amazon's logistics network to deliver freight safely, on time, and at competitive costs. Our team is responsible for planning and scheduling transport orders, providing support to customers, and ensuring the smooth functioning of our European transportation network.

Requirements
  • A degree in a relevant field, such as supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
  • Relevant experience leading cross-functional programs or projects, using project-management methodologies.
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working in an operational environment or with technical teams, with a strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Relevant experience in a supply chain, logistics, e-commerce, or transportation planning role, with a strong analytical mindset.
