About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to lead the geography expansions for Amazon Freight EU. As a key member of our Amazon Transportation Service team, you will be responsible for launching Amazon Freight to new geographies, creating go-to-market strategies, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Launch Amazon Freight to new geographies to unlock total addressable opportunity
  • Create go-to-market strategy for unlocking new geography potential and success plan
  • Launch programs, monitor performance metrics, and report on the status of key objectives that affect deliverables
  • Use data to understand operational challenges and create continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work with a variety of other Amazon departments to identify and leverage best practices
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team in overcoming challenges and drive progress
  • Manage stakeholders and internal processes, and define standards
A Day in the Life

As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and improving initiatives that ensure the smooth running of our operations. You will work closely with a range of Amazon colleagues to understand how they work, and what you and your teams can learn, as well as sharing your own expertise.

About the Team

Requirements
  • A degree
  • Experience in Program Management and delivering complex projects
  • Experience in working with cross-functional and executive stakeholders
  • Data analytics to evaluate and define strategic initiatives
  • Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions
  • Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or SQL in a professional environment
  • Relevant experience driving end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters Degree (MBA)
  • Experience in launching organizations to new geographies (preferably EU)
  • Experience in creating go-to-market strategy to new launches
  • Experience in working with Tax, legal, compliance domain for understanding EU launch space
  • Experience in transportation organization
