Position: Maintenance Technician - Hotel
Salary: Up to £34,000 per annum, based on experience, plus a share of hotel service charge (tronc) and exceptional benefits.
Working Hours: 40 hours over 5 days, including rotational weekends and on-call duties.

About the Role:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will report to the Head Housekeeper and Engineering Manager. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who enjoys hands-on work and is capable of performing a variety of maintenance tasks. You will be responsible for conducting scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance across all guest rooms, public areas, and spa facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct preventive maintenance checks in all guest accommodations, communal areas, and spa facilities.
  • Address and resolve guest room issues, including lighting, plumbing, minor painting, and repairs to furniture and fixtures.
  • Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills.
  • Communicate maintenance issues to the engineering department as necessary.

What We Are Looking For:
  • Experience in a professional maintenance role.
  • Qualifications in a specific engineering or maintenance-related trade.
  • Physical fitness, as heavy lifting is required.
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing your own tasks.
  • Experience with power tools.
  • Hospitality experience is a plus, particularly in guest-facing roles.
  • Skills in woodworking and decorating are advantageous.
