Cluster Maintenance Manager

We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Cluster Maintenance Manager within our esteemed hotel group. This role will oversee the maintenance operations across two prominent hotel locations.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities management within the hospitality sector, demonstrating leadership and organizational skills to effectively manage maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop the maintenance team, ensuring all hotel facilities are well-maintained and operational.
  • Assess whether maintenance projects should be executed internally or outsourced, and schedule accordingly.
  • Manage service contracts for all equipment, adhering to best practices and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Implement a daily maintenance schedule based on guest feedback and operational needs.
  • Maintain an inventory of essential supplies to ensure efficient operations.
  • Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to secure the best pricing and quality for maintenance needs.
  • Attend management meetings and facilitate communication between the maintenance team and department heads.
  • Monitor energy consumption to optimize costs and reduce usage.
  • Ensure the upkeep of guest rooms and public areas meets the highest standards.
  • Supervise the external property maintenance, including signage, lighting, and landscaping.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years in a maintenance management role within a 4-star hotel environment.
  • Comprehensive maintenance skills, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Health and Safety certifications are preferred.
