Job Description

**Job Title:** Business Development Manager

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at CBW Staffing Solutions. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all hard services across a commercial building located in London.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Reporting Structure:** You will report directly to the Operations Manager.
  • **Managing KPIs and SLAs:** You will be responsible for managing agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • **Health and Safety:** You will be responsible for managing the company's Health and Safety (H&S) and environmental performance on the contract.
  • **Building Shutdowns and Client Projects:** You will plan and implement building shutdowns and complex client project works.
  • **Quality Procedures:** You will be responsible for managing the company's quality procedures on site.
  • **Staff Recruitment and Development:** You will be responsible for the recruitment of any new staff and their development, including annual appraisals.
  • **Staff Absenteeism and Disciplinary Issues:** You will manage staff absenteeism and be responsible for disciplinary issues.
  • **Client Relationships:** You will manage client relationships on a daily basis.
  • **Reports and Business Opportunities:** You will manage all reports and identify additional business opportunities that will deliver client satisfaction and increase contract sales revenue.
  • **Technical Support:** You will offer technical support to both the client and the engineering team.
  • **Permit System:** You will be responsible for the permit system.
  • **Client Meetings:** You will attend client meetings.
  • **Financial Responsibility:** You will have full financial responsibility for the contract.

**Requirements:**

  • **Qualifications:** You must be qualified in an engineering discipline (Electrical or Mechanical); C&G, HNC, HND or higher.
  • **Experience:** You must have experience of service delivery across a portfolio of commercial sites.
  • **Team Management:** You must have previous experience of managing an engineering team.
  • **Commercial Building Maintenance:** You must have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
  • **Communication Skills:** You must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients.
  • **Workload Management:** You must be able to manage and prioritize a demanding and varying workload.
  • **Customer Service Skills:** You must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
