Job Summary

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in managing the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring the smooth operation of our finance department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, including processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Sage 50 and Xero accounting software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working in a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) organization.
