Our client is a very well established repair and maintenance company seeking a Finance Manager to work within their team. You will work with the current Accounts Assistant and also liaise with the external company Accountant.
You will have experience of Payroll. VAT returns, monthly management accounts, reconciliations, new starters and leavers and HMRC and pension legislation knowledge. You will research and report on factors that influence company performance and analyse and predict market trends. You will develop financial management strategies to reduce financial risk and monitor reporting systems, prepare financial reports and statements and interpret data, preparing and publishing all financial documents. You will manage accounting, budget cash flow and review cost reduction strategies. You will also develop long term and strategic business plans and organise new funding strategies as well as develop external relationships with auditors, solicitors, bankers and other statutory organisations.
The ideal candidate will be part or fully qualified or qualified by experience. You will understand how to take action and seek solutions, be able to direct others and delegate tasks, have strong written and verbal communication skills. You will have analytical skills and the ability to work with other individuals to resolve financial issues. You will have advanced mathematical abilities for compiling and analysing data. You will be able to use Sage and possibly integrate a new system that will work better for the organisation.
This is a full time and office based role in the Morden area. The company are looking to relocate within a 15 - 20 mile radius and possibly the Redhill area.
