About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our client's team. As a key member of the finance function, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end management accounting and financial reporting. You will work closely with the fractional FD, who will provide guidance and support on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the finance function, including transactional finance, financial reporting, and HMRC and ONS reporting.
  • Oversee the preparation of management accounts, including analysis and commentary.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including subcontractors, payroll, and fleet accounting.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including CIS and subcontractor management.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decision-making.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Finance Manager or similar role.
  • Proven track record of delivering management accounts and financial reporting.
  • Experience of working in an SME organization, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong technical skills, including Sage 50 and Xero.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
