Business Intake Coordinator

The Business Intake Coordinator plays a crucial role in the evaluation, adjustment, and management of all incoming client requests, new matter submissions, revisions, and conflict checks through the Firm's automated business intake platform. As the primary liaison for new inquiries, this position demands exceptional organizational abilities and the capacity to manage extensive litigation and restructuring tasks. The Business Intake Coordinator collaborates with various team members and legal professionals, ensuring that all intake submissions are handled promptly and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and gather information on new inquiries regarding information searches, new clients, and new matters.
  • Support research, analysis, and documentation related to significant litigations and restructuring projects.
  • Oversee data organization initiatives and respond to specific client and matter information inquiries.
  • Work alongside team members to resolve urgent issues and deliver precise information in a timely manner.
  • Manage departmental email communications and represent the Business Intake and Conflicts department professionally.
  • Ensure adherence to all intake requests awaiting action from relevant parties.
  • Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards while updating internal and external information repositories.
  • Direct unidentified materials and inquiries to the appropriate departments with professionalism.
  • Assist in the processing of new client and new matter documentation, and suggest enhancements to technology and processes.
  • Serve as a technical and training resource for end-users and new staff members.
  • Be available for urgent matters and special assignments as required.
