Job Summary

Barings, a leading global investment manager, is seeking a highly skilled professional to join its client onboarding team. As a Client Onboarding Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new clients, working closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Onboarding: Participate in the end-to-end implementation process, facilitating post-sale client coverage and ensuring a superior client experience.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement enhancements to Barings' implementation processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with internal operational teams and shared services to ensure timely and accurate execution of client onboarding activities.
  • Contract Management: Coordinate contract negotiations and investment guideline decisions to ensure alignment with client needs.
  • AML/KYC Compliance: Work with Barings transfer agents to ensure all AML/KYC processes are followed and clients' accounts are opened on a timely basis.
  • Project Prioritization: Facilitate the process to prioritize client implementation activities and ensure timely completion.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in a financial services or asset management environment.
  • Experience in client onboarding or a transitions implementation role is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in asset management and AML/KYC is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple teams, clients, and investment professionals.
  • Experience using BPM and/or CRM software is a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Finance or a related field.
