Key Responsibilities

As a Social Worker within the Children Looked After Teams, you will engage with children aged 0 to 18 whose care plans focus on achieving permanency through adoption or long-term placements. This role provides the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with children and young people, positively influencing their lives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a caseload of children and young people, developing care plans, safeguarding, and supporting them to reach their full potential.
  • Working with Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children and gaining experience in conducting age assessments.
  • Actively listening to the voices of children and promoting their choices, safety, and overall well-being.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must be a registered social worker with Social Work England, holding a professional social work qualification or equivalent, along with proven experience in a dynamic service environment.
