Key Responsibilities

As a Social Worker in the Children Looked After Teams, you will engage with children aged 0 to 18 whose care plans focus on achieving permanency through adoption or long-term care. Your role will involve:

  • Building strong relationships with children and young people to positively influence their lives.
  • Managing a caseload of children and young people, ensuring their care plans are executed effectively.
  • Safeguarding and supporting children to reach their full potential.
  • Working with Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children and enhancing your skills in conducting age assessments.

Our service prioritizes listening to the voices of children and promoting their choices, safety, and overall well-being.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must be a registered social worker with Social Work England, possess a recognized professional social work qualification or equivalent, and have proven experience in a dynamic service environment.
