As a key member of our CAMHS Getting Help and Mental Health Support Teams, you will play a vital role in providing assessments, formulation, and short-term therapeutic interventions to young people across East Berkshire.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Assessments and Formulation: Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and formulate treatment plans for young people up to the age of 18 years, presenting with mild to moderate mental health problems.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Provide short-term, evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy, as appropriate.
- Training and Consultation: Offer training and consultation to external agencies on the mental health presentation of children and young people accessing our services.
- Liaison and Joint Working: Ensure effective liaison and joint working between our teams and the locality Early Help Hub and specialist CAMHS services.
- Outcome Measures: Use routine outcome measures to promote active participation from young people and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
- Supervision: Provide supervision to clinical staff, as appropriate to role.
