Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Education Mental Health Practitioner to join our team. As an Education Mental Health Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health problems in educational settings.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver evidence-based interventions for children and young people in educational settings with mild to moderate mental health problems.
- Help children and young people in these settings who present with more severe problems to rapidly access more specialist services.
- Support and facilitate staff in educational settings to identify and manage issues related to mental health and wellbeing.
- Work with and within educational environments to provide better access to specialist mental health services.
- Be confident in the use of CYP IAPT principles, evidence-based interventions, and routine outcome measures.
