Communications Campaign Specialist

As a vital member of Qualserv Consulting, you will enhance our communication strategies by leveraging your expertise across various communication channels and service areas to support our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the formulation and execution of prominent communication and campaign strategies.
  • Take ownership of significant project areas, working independently to create cohesive campaign strategies for essential service sectors.
  • Recognize and seize opportunities for favorable public relations as part of your responsibilities through diverse tactics.
  • When necessary, oversee and assess the production of graphic design, video content, digital marketing, outdoor promotions, editorial content, and more, crafting detailed briefs for the campaigns you manage.
  • Occasionally produce simple video or other content in collaboration with team members for use on company platforms.
  • Contribute to the management of key communication channels such as newsletters and social media by regularly providing high-quality content relevant to your focus area.
  • Participate in schedules to handle incoming requests for communication tasks.
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders relevant to your area of work, becoming a trusted communications resource.
  • Continuously assess the effectiveness of the campaigns you are involved in and share insights with colleagues to enhance future initiatives.
  • Develop expertise in service-related subjects to improve the communication support you provide.
  • Deliver regular updates and reports to team members and other departments regarding the impact and success of your initiatives.
  • Ensure cost-effectiveness in all communication efforts.
  • Promote and practice clear and accessible communication to ensure our content reaches a broad audience.
  • Stay informed about current trends in communication and public relations to maximize the impact of our campaigns.
  • Proactively engage in your own professional development.
  • Adopt a flexible and results-oriented approach to communication tasks, providing insights on effective messaging, visuals, and channels.
  • Experiment with innovative communication strategies and provide feedback on their success.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, offering communication-related advice and expertise when appropriate.
  • Champion an inclusive approach to equality issues in line with the company's practices and relevant legislation.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficient in both online and offline marketing strategies, with the ability to implement and assess their effectiveness.
  • Possess a degree or demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills, and capabilities.
  • Skilled in crafting and executing effective marketing, communication, and engagement plans.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the local government landscape and its operational context.

Experience Requirements

  • Proven experience in engaging diverse audiences through various communication channels.
  • Track record of delivering inspiring and successful campaigns.
  • Experience in interacting with individuals at all organizational levels, adapting communication style as needed.
  • Experience supporting senior management at a strategic level, demonstrating professionalism.

  • Ability to effectively engage and communicate with various internal and external audiences, including staff and stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating with designers and content creators, with the ability to brief and evaluate their work.
  • Exceptional writing skills, capable of tailoring content for different channels and formats, with a strong command of plain English.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, able to engage confidently with stakeholders in both individual and group settings.
  • Adaptable and flexible in approach, able to meet changing work demands.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and maintain attention to detail.
