About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Associate Delegate Relations Manager to join our team at Informa Connect. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for advising customers on the range and suitability of our events and courses, as well as additional services offered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate revenue by selling large-scale events, specialized conferences, and training courses
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell our portfolio of events, including finance, pharma, maritime, marketing, legal, and tax
  • Provide support to ensure revenue is collected on sales made
  • Work towards sales and call rate targets set by the Head of Sales and Global Revenue Director
  • Provide detailed feedback to divisional managers and other departments on the progress of each event and sales campaign
  • Contribute to new lead generation activities using all available resources
  • Follow up on all leads in a timely and proactive manner
  • Ensure consistency of sales and marketing information, including current prices, discounts, target audience, priorities, resource availability, etc.
  • Liaise closely with the wider Informa Connect teams and event team to ensure sales activities are conducted in the most efficient manner and aligned with the wider business
Requirements
  • Highly motivated with excellent communication skills to identify customer needs and deliver a high level of customer service while maximizing sales opportunities
  • Ability to work in a global environment, with occasional travel in the UK, Europe, or worldwide to attend conferences in support of sales and marketing activities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles, with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies
