About the Company: KC Recruitment is a leading recruitment agency specializing in logistics and transportation jobs.

About the Role:

  • Work with national and international suppliers and agents to arrange freight deliveries and collections between ports, airports, and warehouses.
  • Keep clients up to date and deal with problems or delays.
  • Manage freight bookings using a CDS computer Declarations system.
  • Preparing customs documents for shipment.
  • Ensure compliance of various documents with appropriate standards.
  • Transfer documents to customs brokers.
  • Ensure technical and administrative liaison for the movement of goods.
  • Check that tax and customs documents are correct.
  • Work with national and international suppliers and agents.
  • Handle invoices and payments.
  • Arrange for the shipment of goods into and/or out of the country.
  • Prepare and process all necessary documentation including quotes, invoices, customs clearances, receipts, and other documents.
  • Track shipments and ensure the distribution of goods.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in customs and import/export roles.
  • Strong knowledge of customs rules and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
