Position Overview

The Human Capital Management (HCM) Solutions Architect plays a pivotal role in the design, execution, and upkeep of Workday HCM solutions at Annapurna. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and strategic insight to ensure that HCM systems meet organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities

System Design and Architecture:

  • Direct the design of Workday HCM solutions, ensuring they align with business objectives and industry standards.
  • Establish and uphold the overarching architecture of the HCM system.
  • Guarantee that solutions are scalable, secure, and adhere to applicable regulations.

Implementation Management:

  • Supervise the deployment of various Workday HCM modules, including Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent Management, Payroll, and Benefits.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth integration with other platforms.
  • Oversee data migration, system configuration, and testing processes.

Project Leadership:

  • Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  • Create comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Lead project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful outcomes.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Engage with business leaders and stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
  • Conduct regular meetings to update stakeholders on project progress.
  • Offer training and support to end-users to facilitate system adoption.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives:

  • Identify opportunities for system enhancements and operational efficiencies.
  • Stay informed about Workday updates and new functionalities.
  • Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to optimize performance.

Required Skills and Competencies

Technical Proficiency:

  • Expertise in Workday HCM modules, including Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent Management, Payroll, and Benefits.
  • Solid understanding of system integration, data migration, and configuration processes.
  • Experience with Workday integration tools such as Workday Studio and EIB.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools and techniques within Workday.

Analytical Abilities:

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to interpret complex business requirements.
  • Capacity to design scalable and efficient HCM solutions.
  • Exceptional data analysis and modeling skills.

Project Management Expertise:

  • Experience managing large-scale HCM implementation projects.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation and training capabilities.

Qualifications

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Workday HCM implementation and architecture.
  • Demonstrated success in leading Workday HCM projects from start to finish.
  • Experience in a consulting environment is advantageous.

Certifications:

  • Workday HCM certification is mandatory.
  • Additional Workday certifications (e.g., Workday Integration, Workday Reporting) are highly desirable.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.

Tools and Technologies:

Proficient in the Workday HCM Suite, including Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent Management, Payroll, and Benefits. Familiar with integration tools like Workday Studio and EIB, as well as reporting tools such as Workday Report Writer.
