About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our Accounts Receivable Department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide intensive pursuit of funds outstanding in respect of invoices raised.
  • Maintain records of all amounts outstanding, debtor contact details, and the latest responses received from the debtor.
  • Run reports summarizing key details to the Accounts Receivable Manager.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including Math's and English, at Grade C or above.
  • AAT part qualified or 2 years working experience in Financial Services.
  • Prepared to undertake further training and development and be committed to achieving a PDP.
  • 12 months of previous Credit Controller experience.
  • 12 months experience of Accounts Receivable process, or other core financial process, within complex, large volume environment.
Desirable Skills
  • Good knowledge of financial control processes including debt collection.
  • Knowledge of the VAT regulations relating to accounts receivable.
  • Good working knowledge of Oracle, and its application in a modern, dynamic public services organisation.
