Role Overview

As a vital member of our team, you will significantly influence the future of vocational education by steering the product strategy and ensuring the success of our offerings in the marketplace. You will oversee at least one Product Manager and Industry Manager to guarantee that our product offerings meet and surpass customer expectations while expanding our market share.

You will hold strategic accountability for the lifecycle management of products within your sectors, ensuring a quality journey and experience for our customers and learners. This includes managing business justification, planning, verification, and commercial viability throughout the product lifecycle, while continuously assessing external factors such as policy, regulation, and competition.

As the Lead Product Strategist, you will also be responsible for achieving commercial targets for your sector and devising a growth strategy for the products that align with our business growth objectives.

Candidate Profile

It is essential that you have substantial expertise and practical experience in a commercial and funded product management role, encompassing product lifecycle management, roadmap development, and go-to-market strategies. A solid understanding of the education sector and assessments, along with the ability to leverage customer and market insights to drive product enhancements, is crucial.

You should possess a strategic and commercial mindset, with a commitment to increasing market share and enhancing customer and learner experiences. Strong leadership skills are vital for this role, including negotiation, presentation, and team management capabilities.

Familiarity with the learning, skills, assessment, and employment sectors is advantageous, although not mandatory.
