Job Title: Curriculum Team Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Curriculum Team Manager to join our team at Coulsdon Sixth Form College. As a key member of our academic leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality curriculum programs across our Hair & Beauty, Hospitality, Public Services, and Sports courses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement curriculum strategies to drive student engagement and achievement
  • Lead and manage a team of subject area specialists to ensure effective curriculum delivery
  • Collaborate with the Head of School and other managers to ensure a high-quality learning experience for students
  • Support the development and implementation of commercial salon and restaurant operations
  • Monitor and evaluate curriculum effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

  • Relevant teaching qualification and experience in one of the subject areas
  • Assessor/IQA qualifications and a minimum Level 3 in one of the subject areas
  • Significant experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of driving student achievement and staff engagement
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff and students
  • High levels of accuracy and efficiency, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
