Job Title: Curriculum Manager - Construction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Curriculum Manager to join our team at Coulsdon Sixth Form College. As a Curriculum Manager, you will be responsible for the quality of curriculum delivery and development, working strategically to motivate students and staff to achieve at the highest level.

You will work collaboratively with the Head of School and other managers to ensure that students have a high-quality learning experience, leading to excellent outcomes and progression. Your significant previous experience of working to deadlines and dealing with changing priorities will be essential in this role.

We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, high levels of accuracy and efficiency, and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. You must have relevant experience, a teaching qualification (or willingness to undertake one), and assessor/IQA qualifications. A minimum Level 3 in either Plumbing, Electrical, or a Construction-related trade and considerable experience in your trade are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement high-quality curriculum plans and strategies
  • Work collaboratively with the Head of School and other managers to ensure excellent student outcomes
  • Manage and motivate staff to achieve at the highest level
  • Ensure accurate and efficient record-keeping and reporting
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in curriculum development and management
  • Teaching qualification (or willingness to undertake one)
  • Assessor/IQA qualifications
  • Minimum Level 3 in either Plumbing, Electrical, or a Construction-related trade
  • Considerable experience in your trade
