Lead Nursing Practitioner

The Lead Nursing Practitioner is responsible for overseeing and providing exceptional care to a designated group of patients. This role involves the application of the Nursing Process framework and effective case management to ensure high-quality patient care. The Lead Nursing Practitioner will also have delegated authority for the evaluation, management, and clinical oversight of Registered Nurses, junior staff, and clinical support personnel within a specific healthcare service, under the guidance of senior management.

Key Responsibilities- Registered Nurse with current NMC Registration.
- Education at Degree Level or equivalent experience.
- Advanced knowledge and expertise in the relevant specialty to ensure safe and effective leadership.
- Thorough understanding of clinical guidelines and standards applicable to the specialty.
- Specialized knowledge of relevant conditions, policies, and procedures to lead effectively within the specialty.
- Strong leadership abilities to manage daily service delivery.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education in the specialty area.
- Excellent teamwork and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective time management capabilities.
- Proficient in basic information technology.
This is a permanent, full-time position, requiring a commitment of 37 hours per week.
Location and Work ScheduleThe position will be based within a designated healthcare facility, with specific working patterns to be confirmed by the hiring authority.
