About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Department Practitioner/Registered Nurse to join our Theatre Trauma and Orthopaedic team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide dynamic support to the theatre team, ensuring the smooth operation of our 16 in-patient theatres and the Surgical Day Unit.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of operating theatres, equipment, and supplies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care and outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices within the department.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with NMC or ODP with HCPC registration.
  • Nursing Degree/Diploma or ODP qualification.
  • Elective Orthopaedic and Trauma scrub experience.
  • Experience working within an acute or community setting.
  • Experience of Multi-disciplinary working.
