About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operating Department Practitioner to join our team in the Theatre Trauma and Orthopaedic department. As a key member of our team, you will provide dynamic support to our theatre team, working closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide scrub support to theatre teams during surgical procedures
  • Assist with patient preparation and positioning
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment in the operating department
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with NMC or ODP with HCPC
  • Nursing Degree/Diploma or ODP qualification
  • Elective Orthopaedic and Trauma scrub experience
  • Experience working within an acute or community setting
  • Experience of Multi-disciplinary working
