About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operating Department Practitioner to join our Theatre Trauma and Orthopaedic team. As a key member of our team, you will provide dynamic support to our theatre team, working closely with our surgeons and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

As an Operating Department Practitioner, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing scrub support to our theatre team during surgical procedures
  • Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of theatre equipment and supplies
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
  • Working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registered Nurse with NMC or ODP with HCPC
  • Nursing Degree/Diploma or ODP qualification
  • Elective Orthopaedic and Trauma scrub experience
  • Experience working within an acute or community setting
  • Experience of Multi-disciplinary working
