About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) to join our team as a Band 6 leader in the Eye Day Unit at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the Eye Day Unit team in delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to ensure safe and effective care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with the theatre and ward teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Support the Coordinator in the efficient management of the unit, including liaison with Theatre, Recovery, and Ward areas.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with NMC registration.
  • Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
  • ODP with HCPC registration.
  • Experience in Ophthalmology.
