About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Department Practitioner to join our team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 6 ODP Practitioner, you will play a key role in leading and supporting the Eye Day Unit team, delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the Eye Day Unit team in delivering high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the needs of patients undergoing ophthalmic surgery
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective care
  • Contribute to the development of the team, including training and mentoring
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with NMC registration
  • Degree or Diploma in Nursing
  • ODP with HCPC registration
  • Experience in ophthalmology
