Role Overview:

The primary objective of this position is to enhance and drive profitable sales by capitalizing on every opportunity that arises. You will be responsible for leading, motivating, and managing a team of internal sales representatives to achieve outstanding results.

The ideal candidate will be focused on advancing their career within a supportive and progressive organization. You will play a crucial role in the sales and customer service department, contributing to the overall success of the team. A strong aptitude for sales, along with a genuine passion for assisting customers in resolving their challenges, is essential. This role is dynamic and requires excellent interpersonal skills and commercial insight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Support the Team: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal sales support team members, overseeing sales, customer service, and technical operations.
  • Sales Discipline: Promote and exemplify effective sales practices that align with a robust sales culture.
  • Opportunity Assessment: Guide team members in accurately quoting potential sales opportunities.
  • Commercial Focus: Foster a mindset centered on qualification, upselling, cross-selling, and brand development.
  • Sales Leadership: Direct activities across sales, customer service, and technical functions to meet objectives and inspire commercial success.
  • Process Enhancement: Identify and advocate for improvements in internal processes.
  • Performance Metrics: Generate and utilize reports to boost team performance and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Customer Interaction: Collaborate closely with customer service to enhance satisfaction and set an example in delivering exceptional service.
  • Sales Insights: Leverage analytics to identify sales opportunities and ensure follow-up.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with various departments to drive favorable outcomes for the organization.
  • Personal Development: Develop and implement individual growth plans for each team member.

Candidate Profile:

Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership capacity (Team Leader or Sales Manager).

Strong understanding of established sales principles and their practical application.

Proven people management abilities.

Excellent commercial awareness.

Outstanding relationship-building and listening skills.

Highly organized and efficient.

Strong questioning and qualification abilities.

Exceptional interpersonal skills.

Comfortable engaging with customers.

Resilient and determined.

Experience in fluid power is advantageous but not mandatory.
