We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Professional to join our team at DX Group. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth within your designated territory.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets in line with DX Group's growth objectives.
- Build and maintain a close network of contacts with current and prospective customers to develop and implement market sector sales plans within your own catchment area.
- Contribute to innovative and creative pipeline solutions alongside sales colleagues nationwide.
- Work with the General Manager and Regional Sales Manager to implement the sales strategy and business plan for the area, making best use of DX Group's fleet capacity to collect from prospect customers.
- Define and manage customer prospects to maximise sales growth.
- Work with the DX Bid Management Team to deliver effective tender responses to specific customer opportunities.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the DX Group product portfolio and all associated features and benefits, and tailor those benefits to the needs of the customer.
- Submit accurate and timely business forecasts and chair regular sales meetings.
- Use sales tools in line with the agreed sales process to maintain and develop sales pipeline and customer information.
- Proven sales experience in a logistics or parcels industry.
- Strong knowledge of sales strategies and tactics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
