Job Title: Knowledge Services Assistant - International Arbitration

We are seeking a highly skilled Knowledge Services Assistant to join our International Arbitration team at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. As a key member of our global Knowledge & Information Services team, you will play a critical role in supporting our lawyers and business services colleagues in delivering market-leading client service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Knowledge & Insight capture: Ensure knowledge insights and know-how from client mandates are captured and documented.
  • Current awareness: Support the creation and sharing of updates, insights, and commentary on legal, regulatory, and market developments.
  • Knowledge collections management: Collate and maintain our internal knowledge collections, including uploading know-how and tagging.
  • Internal K products creation/updating: Support the Knowledge Lawyers and lawyers in the practice groups on the creation and updating of internal knowledge products.
  • Information on resources: Maintain and update information on relevant SharePoints and other tools used to house and disseminate information about our internal and external resources.
  • External resource expertise: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the external online databases and resources relevant to the practice area.
  • Resources training and guidance: Support resources training for lawyers and other business services colleagues on how to use the Knowledge SharePoints and other internal knowledge tools.
  • Research & signposting: Help users orient their own searches and respond to queries from lawyers in the practice groups or other business services colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Degree educated.
  • Research skills.
  • Highly IT literate, including excellent command of Microsoft Office 365.
  • SharePoint skills, content publishing, database maintenance, and ability to upload content to websites.
  • Experience of working in a law firm or understanding of legal products/services or professional services experience is desirable.
