About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Development Manager to join our team at Abbatt Property Recruitment. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of our residential properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Charge Management: Manage a £7 million service charge budget, ensuring effective cost control and review of expenditure and accounts.
  • Development Management: Oversee the development of a 387-unit residential project, ensuring all aspects of the development are fully presentable, serviced, and properly maintained.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of facilities managers, providing training and development opportunities to support their growth and success.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Health and Safety: Conduct regular risk assessments, health and safety checks, and routine testing requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Contract Management: Manage contracts with contractors, ensuring all works are completed to a high standard and within designated timeframes.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present bi-monthly financial summary reports, analyzing expenditure and identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a facilities or property management role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Qualifications: Level 2 or ATPI qualification, or willingness to work towards.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
