Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at ASR International. This role will involve managing a portfolio of retail and showroom clients, ensuring product displays are well-maintained and up-to-date, and driving customer engagement through training and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct meaningful contacts and meetings with clients to discuss sales strategies and product displays.
  • Manage and coordinate the roll-out of new product displays to ensure optimal brand presence.
  • Negotiate stock and pricing for small stock deals with key showroom partners.
  • Deliver in-branch training programs for showroom staff and affiliated installers, focusing on the full range of bathroom products and their applications.
  • Support exhibitions and end-user related activities to promote brand awareness.
  • Drive high customer engagement through a consultative and tailored sales approach.
  • Manage a portfolio of around 130 active clients, generating approximately £1m annually.
  • Balance key account management with new business development to maintain and grow the region.
  • Track and analyse account performance, setting measures and targets to ensure continuous positive sales growth.
  • Provide regular feedback to the Sales Director to help improve service and sales performance.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record in retail sales within the bathroom industry.
  • Strong experience in managing and developing relationships with independent retailers and national merchant showrooms.
  • The ability to roll out and manage product displays effectively while driving customer engagement through training and support.
