Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team at ASR International. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of retail and showroom clients in the Yorkshire and Northeast regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct meaningful contacts and meetings with clients to ensure optimal brand presence.
- Manage and coordinate the roll-out of new product displays to drive customer engagement.
- Negotiate stock and pricing with key showroom partners to meet sales targets.
- Deliver in-branch training programs for showroom staff and affiliated installers to enhance product knowledge.
- Support exhibitions and end-user related activities to promote brand awareness.
- Drive high customer engagement through a consultative and tailored sales approach.
- Manage a portfolio of around 130 active clients, generating approximately £1m annually.
- Balance key account management with new business development to maintain and grow the region.
- Track and analyze account performance, setting measures and targets to ensure continuous positive sales growth.
- Provide regular feedback to the Sales Director to help improve service and sales performance.
- Ensure consistent use of CRM to log activity.
The Opportunity:
This is a fantastic role for an experienced retail sales professional within the bathroom industry to inherit a solid client base. You will have the autonomy to manage accounts, close deals, and target new opportunities to grow the area while working closely with a supportive senior leadership team.
Requirements:
- A proven track record in retail sales within the bathroom industry.
- Strong experience in managing and developing relationships with independent retailers and national merchant showrooms.
- The ability to roll out and manage product displays effectively while driving customer engagement through training and support.
