Job Title: Customer Experience Assistant

About the Position: We are seeking a committed and friendly Customer Experience Assistant to enhance our operations. In this role, you will play a vital part in improving customer interactions by delivering outstanding service, addressing inquiries, and fostering a welcoming shopping atmosphere. Your contributions are essential in ensuring customer satisfaction and creating positive experiences.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers with a friendly demeanor and assist them in fulfilling their needs, ensuring a high standard of service.
  • Promptly and professionally handle customer inquiries, issues, and complaints.
  • Offer comprehensive product details and suggestions to guide customers in their purchasing decisions.
  • Support the efficient functioning of the store, including restocking items and maintaining an appealing store layout.
  • Accurately process transactions at the checkout, including cash, credit, and debit card payments.
  • Assist with promotional events and help set up displays and signage.
  • Gather customer feedback to enhance the overall shopping experience and suggest improvements.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional service.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations, to maintain a secure shopping environment.
  • Engage in training and development opportunities to stay updated on products, services, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service or retail is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and dedication to improving the customer experience.
