Summary:
- Provides intermediate level administrative support to a department or Service Center, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responds to telephone calls, greets visitors, and manages mail distribution, maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.
- Performs word processing, data entry, and file maintenance, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Orders supplies, reviews and verifies payroll, and forwards information to internal departments for processing.
- Provides customer service, answering routine questions, and resolving research issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Supports functional department duties, maintaining spreadsheets, databases, and performing queries to compile data and prepare reports.
- Secondary responsibilities may include reviewing budgeted vs. actual expenses, reconciling corporate credit card statements, and coordinating meetings and events.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 24 years of support or administrative experience or equivalent academic education and experience
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite and basic proficiency in Oracle Financial and Human Resources
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse levels of the organization
- Flexibility, diligence, and strong collaboration skills
- Working conditions/physical requirements: light duty, with frequent keyboarding and minimal travel
