Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Duty Manager to join our team at our Ascot event site. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day retail activities, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and Preparation
    • Develop and implement retail strategies to drive sales and customer engagement.
    • Ensure that all retail areas are fully stocked and visually appealing.
    • Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely receipt and storage of merchandise.
  • Customer Experience
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Train and coach retail staff to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
    • Monitor and improve customer satisfaction levels.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail area, including opening and closing procedures.
    • Ensure that all retail transactions are accurately processed and recorded.
    • Monitor and control inventory levels, minimizing stock waste and losses.
  • Team Management
    • Lead and motivate a team of retail staff, providing coaching and development opportunities.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to improve team performance.
    • Ensure that all team members are aware of and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a retail management role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage team members.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
