Overview: The Communications Technology Services division is in search of a dedicated Senior Vendor Relations Manager to oversee the management of Internet Service Provider (ISP) partnerships within the EMEA region.

Role Responsibilities: As a vital member of the Strategic IP Services (SIPS) Team, the Senior Vendor Relations Manager will act as the principal liaison for a designated group of vendors. This role encompasses managing the overall vendor relationship, serving as the main contact for escalations, and conducting regular business reviews to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements (SLAs).

Key Duties Include:

  • Acting as the primary contact for daily interactions with a portfolio of telecommunications vendors.
  • Facilitating formal monthly and quarterly business reviews with vendors and internal leadership.
  • Generating and analyzing vendor performance metrics against established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Identifying strategic initiatives and potential growth opportunities for the Global Vendor Management program.
  • Monitoring vendor performance to ensure adherence to contractual SLAs, addressing any breaches, and implementing financial recourse measures as necessary.
  • Leading efforts to investigate and resolve any performance discrepancies with vendors.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to develop automated methods for tracking and analyzing circuit performance metrics.

Daily Activities:

  • Collecting and inputting vendor performance data from various sources into a comprehensive performance workbook.
  • Initiating and managing vendor disputes related to SLA violations to secure service credits.
  • Supporting the onboarding and maintenance of supplier escalation protocols.
  • Overseeing governance of voice and data circuit details, reconciling inventory discrepancies, and evaluating contract expirations to optimize costs.
  • Driving negotiations to ensure vendor compliance with key terms and conditions.
  • Tracking and reporting on key program initiatives and updates.

About the Team: The Communications and Technology Services (CTS) organization is comprised of two core teams: Strategic IP Services (SIPS) and Cabling Infrastructure Technology (CIT). Our mission is to enhance telecommunications and cabling infrastructure services for IT Services (ITS) by striving for excellence in all business aspects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
  • Background in a professional field or military service.
  • Proven experience in formulating strategies that influence organizational leadership decisions.
  • Experience managing cross-functional programs, building processes, and coordinating schedules.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in data interpretation and making informed business recommendations.
  • Experience in identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.
