About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to join our team at VolkerWessels UK. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in the effective and efficient running of our projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation and scheduling
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliverables
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues
Requirements
  • MEng/BEng/Foundation Degree/BTEC in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in a senior engineering role, preferably in the rail sector
  • PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification
  • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) certification
