Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) Sustainability team is looking for an experienced, driven, analytical, and creative Senior Program Manager to execute on Amazon Transportation Service’s carbon reduction goals. An ideal candidate will: i) partner with Original Equipment Manufacturers and identify creative Zero Emissions Vehicles solutions and drive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) parity vs. diesel, ii) topology planning for Zero Emissions and Low Carbon Fuels Vehicles deployment, and iii) partner with infrastructure team to identify creative solutions to increase Zero Emissions and Low Carbon Fuels Vehicles attainment. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in, and get the job done. You will be able to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, and then deliver them in a successful and timely manner. Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent, and leadership are essential to success in this role

Key job responsibilities
This role is inherently cross-functional - you will work closely, but not limited to, with WW Sustainability, WW Ops Sustainability, Core Operations, Legal, Finance, Network planning, and executive teams to bring programs to the market. This job will require exceptional communication skills and having the ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment with all levels of leadership, and exercise sound judgment where clear guidelines may not exist. The successful candidate will be proficient at solving transportation challenges and possess a bias to get things done and deliver results. Other responsibilities include:
• Define the strategic vision, own the long-term roadmap, and drive teams to execute on that vision,
• Address barriers through problem solving and coordination with stakeholders; aligning customers and teams towards coherent product features and strategies,
• Develop core program management documentation, including user scenarios and detailed business requirements.

As an experienced project and Sr program manager, you will bring a depth of knowledge on sustainability design, project scope development, vendor & technical consultant management, stakeholder coordination, and project performance reporting.
